Terms and Conditions

An exact quote will be given on application.

  • Event organisers are to guarantee that access to the display site will be possible for the aircraft trailers which are over 10 metres long.  A minimum clearance height of 3.5 metres is required, along with minimum gate width of 2.4 metres.

  • Event organisers must provide a suitable area of a minimum 12 x 12 metres for each aircraft on a flat surface. Grass is acceptable as long as the ground is firm upon arrival of the aircraft and not prone to ponding and waterlogging in the event of adverse weather. The display area must be clear of overhanging trees.

  • For events longer than one day, the team prefers to have space for at least one large period tent to be located next to or close to and per aircraft. These tents will form part of any associated period military display, and may be used by some of the team for overnight accommodation if applicable. They will also be used by the team to take shelter in in the event of sudden adverse weather conditions. The organisers should ensure that water and toilet facilities are accessible at all times.

  • If it is not possible for any of the team to camp next to the aircraft, event organisers are to provide overnight security for the aircraft and/or Herras fencing sufficient to encircle the aircraft if any aircraft is to be located in an un-secured location.  The team also has a camper van which must be sited within sight of the aircraft overnight for sites where no grass area is present.

  • If the aircraft is not to be displayed on grass, the organiser is to provide sufficient crowd control steel barrier fencing to encircle the aircraft.

  • A suitable area for storing the trailer and other support vehicles away from the display is required.

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your event date at the time of booking.

  • All outstanding fees must be received, in full, at least two weeks in advance of the event. Failure to do so may mean the loss of your date and the loss of your deposit.

  • Should the aircrafts' appearance be cancelled by the organiser, with less than 14 days notice, then the appearance fee will be non-refundable. The organiser may be liable for any costs incurred by the team, for example, accommodation deposits, ferry tickets etc.

  • Should ICONIC-WW2AIRCRAFT be forced to withdraw from the event for any reason, then the fee will be reimbursed in full. ICONIC-WW2AIRCRAFT will not be responsible for any costs incurred by the Event Hosts as a result of its failure to attend.

  • Organisers should be aware that poor weather conditions, in particular high winds and ice or snow can prevent the team from travelling to your event.

Included in our fees are the following:

  • Your event will be publicised and promoted on our website www.iconic-ww2aircraft.co.uk and our Facebook page, and the same pages of the Northern Forties Re-enactment Group website.

  • Charges include the supply of full health and safety assessment for the team operating at your event, and public liability insurance.

  • The display will include team members in period Military uniform. Additional support/display items and military personnel from the Northern Forties Re-enactment Group and Cheshire Home Guard may be available by separate arrangement and separate cost.
